Snorkeling

If you are looking for a memorable snorkeling experience while visiting Gili Air, then consider booking a tour with one of the local operators. Tours usually last between 3 and 4 hours and will take you to some of the best spots in the area to observe marine life. You can choose between private or public tours, depending on your preference. A stop for lunch at one of the other Gili islands is also included. You don't need to book in advance, just come by our front desk and we can provide you with more information about the different tour operators and what they offer. Our local tour operators have years of experience and know all the best spots for sea life observation. So don't miss out on this incredible opportunity.

Scuba Diving

Scuba diving is a thrilling experience and can make for an unforgettable part of any holiday. It’s also a great way to explore the wonders of the underwater world, as you come face-to-face with beautiful fish like Nemo, reef sharks, and turtles! If you’re new to scuba diving, you can sign up for an Openwater Course. No matter what your level, finding the perfect diving school is key. At Gili Air there are various diving centers with instructors from around the world and various packages designed for all levels and interests. The closest diving center is Ocean Five.

Kayaking lets you explore new areas. Subwing offers a unique experience of gliding through the water like a fish. Freediving allows you to explore the depths of the sea. Or catch a fish at a fishing trip

Land Activities

Cycling 

Cycling around the Gili Islands is a truly unique experience - there's no sound of engines or motorized traffic, just you and the beautiful surroundings. The roads are mostly flat and the islands are small enough that it's easy to traverse them on two wheels. Plus, with its stunning views and coastal breezes, cycling is a great way to explore the stunning beauty of the island.
